Alvin Sickles, Jr., age 83, passed from this life on November 21, 2021, to be met at the Gates of Heaven, by his longtime wife of 59 years and best friend, Phyllis. He leaves behind his eldest, son Gary C. Sickles and daughter Sharon R. Sickles-Lynn. Alvin was the proud grandfather of Cory D. Sickles, Jamie A. Shelton (Steven) and Jason C. Daniels and great-grandfather of Brent M. Shelton and Eric J. Shelton. He is also survived by his brother, Calvin Sickles, Sr. and step-brother Frank Meyer. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis W. Sickles, his parents Alvin Sickles Sr. and Emma Clark-Sickles and a brother Albert Sickles. Alvin was a dedicated employee for many years at Allgeier & Son, Inc. as a truck driver and was best known as "Duke". Alvin will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. Our hearts are grieving however we know that he is rejoicing in Heaven with Mom! Visitation for Alvin will take place on December 1, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with the funeral service starting at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Landmark Memorial Gardens.
