David Ray Marcus, Sr. was welcomed in this world on August 6, 1963 to Verna Lee Marcus and Robert Kenneth White, Jr. at Cincinnati General Hospital and called to his heavenly home March 27th, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood.

He was your neighborhood handy man and also a jack of all trades. Growing up he was known as "Pete" in the boxing ring. On his down time, you would catch him at a buddy's fishing.

He is survived by his children David Ray Marcus, Jr. (Krystal), Sean Lee Marcus (Debra), Elisha Deseree Marcus (Jesse Golsby), Maria Marcus-Taylor, and James Taylor; his father James Gregory; sisters Ronda Gregory, Robyn Gregory, Cassie Gregory, and Denise Sheppard; brother Jerry Gregory (Denise); 4 granddaughters and 5 grandsons along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son Eric Pierre Marcus; his mother Verna Lee Marcus, his father Robert Kenneth White, Jr.; his brother Brian Gregory; grandparents Hershel Gregory (Florine) and significant other Christine Taylor.
