Delainya "Lanie" Kay Francis

Born 11-24-1976 at Bethesda hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She passed on 03-18-2025 at her residence in Norwood, Ohio. Lanie attended Norwood High School and was a dedicated and valued employee of Oakley Square Animal Hospital for 28 years.

Lanie lived her life unapologetically bold and bright. She had a quick wit, a wicked sense of humor, and a contagious laugh. She was there whenever you needed her; would hold your hand while you cried, offer you a lift home when it rained, talk you up when you were low, and do anything to make you smile. If you were lucky enough to call her your friend, you knew you were never alone.

She was truly beautiful, inside and out.

While her wings may have been clipped here, her struggles are over, and her spirit is flying free, dancing gracefully in the wind.

Visitation at Tredway Funeral Home on Sunday March 30th from 6-8 pm.
