Dormas J. Spaw – November 30, 1931 – July 14, 2020. Married to Mathel (nee Wesley) Spaw for 69 years. Cherished father of four daughters Vickie (Steve) Barker, Kathy Steger, Karen (Larry) Grootveld and Phyllis (Jack) Bouldin. Beloved grandfather of Michelle Stan, Christine (Josh) Navara, Dustin (Stacy) Steger, Nate Bouldin, Julie Steger (Adam Thomas), Brittany Bouldin (Brode McCrady), Erica Barker, Stephanie Barker, Jacob (Whitney) Grootveld and Sydney (Kyle) Thorson. Beloved great grandfather of Benjamin Stan, Paige Navara, Ethan Navara, Grace Steger, Max Thomas, Dane Thomas, Eli Thomas, Ella Thomas, Sophia Thomas, Luca Arbino, Kason Grootveld, Bennett Grootveld, Vincent Thorson, Lilly Thorson and Zachariah Thorson. Dormas was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Ocal Spaw. Also preceded in death by siblings, Mildred, Pauline, Lloyd and Roger and granddaughter Cari Cook. Dormas was a retiree of General Motors and a devoted member of Ashland Ave. Baptist Church in Norwood for 65 years. He was a wonderful and devoted family man. Visitation and funeral service will be held at Ashland Avenue Baptist Church on Friday July 17, 2020. Visitation 12noon – 12:30pm, funeral service 12:30pm until 1:00pm.
