Loving father of Doug (Melody) Stanley Jr., Liz (David) Hyden, Pamela Stanley, and the late Brian (Ellen) Stanley; dear grandfather of Eric, Jason, Patrick (Kaitlin), Joshua, Caleb, Shayna (Ryne), Jacob (Courtney), and Chase; great grandfather of Heidi, Ripple, and Ava; beloved brother of Bob Stanley. He is also survived by Nella, whom he was married to for 31 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Norman and sister Chenoa. Doug loved to fish, research his family genealogy, and watch the Cincinnati Reds. He was a proud veteran of the US Air Force and a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Doug passed away peacefully October 3rd, 2022, age 72. Visitation will take place at Grand Ave Church of God, 648 Grand Ave., Taylor Mill, KY, 41015 on Friday October 7th from 10 am until time of funeral service at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, KY.
