Helen Payne

September 13, 1922 – June 11, 2023

Helen Louise Payne (nee Piffer) passed away peacefully on June 11, 2023, at the age of 100. Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Emma Piffer. Caring sister of her late twin Margaret Kripp, and late brothers Richard and Robert Piffer. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 59 years, Julian Payne. Loving mother of Ronald (Dottie) Payne and Janet (Ronald) Siler. Cherished grandmother of Christy (Jon) Redford, Amy Siler, Melissa (Shane) Neher, Chad (Laurie) Harris, and the late Allen Payne and Jeremy Siler. Proud great-grandmother of Robby, Caleb, and Riley Redford; Nathan Siler; Bryce McFall; Zachary, Kailey, Luke, and Elsy Neher; Madeline and Audrey Harris. Dear aunt of Diane Storer.

Helen will always be remembered for her generous spirit, love of animals, and as a friend to many in her community of Norwood. She attributed her long life to a love of sweets and bottled Coke.

Friends are invited to call at the Tredway Pollitt Funeral Home on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 11:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Lunch afterward at White Oak Christian Church Colerain.
