James Gray

James Ernest Gray, age 92,  passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026. Born in 1934, James lived a life devoted to his family, his faith, and those he loved.

James was the beloved husband of the late Martha Carolyn Gray. He was the devoted father of Deborah Lynn Gadberry (Steve) and James E. Gray Jr. (Raelynn).

He was the cherished grandfather of Jeremy Gray (Barb), Brian Gray, Shane Gadberry (Wendy), Joshua Gadberry (Toni), Zachary Gadberry (Victoria), and Rachel Gadberry (Jacob). He will be lovingly remembered by his family and all who knew him.

James is also survived by his siblings, Kathleen Vega and Rev. William L. Gray. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jacqueline Schweitzer.

Visitation on Monday July 20th from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Tredway Funeral Home, 2131 Cameron Avenue, Norwood, Ohio. Funeral ceremony will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
