James "Kenny" Thompson

James Thompson, age 45, passed away on July 28, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on June 30, 1981, in Lexington, Kentucky.

James will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and friends and for the many lives he touched throughout his life.

He is survived by his parents, Alice (James) Carter and David Schnitzler; his sisters, Athena (Garrett) Willis, Christina Schnitzler, and Precious Schnitzler; his brothers, David Schnitzler and Johnny Schnitzler; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Thompson.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at TruePoint Church, 6800 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45213. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the church.
