Larry  Dean Olsen was born in Quince, South Dakota to the union of Sverre and Irene Olsen.  He passed away on February 1, 2026.  He earned a BS degree from  Tennessee State University  in 1982 and  PhD degree from University of Wyoming in 1991.  He worked at Niosh from 1991-2019. The last six years of his life he enjoyed his retirement by spending time with his friend, Mike. May you rest in peace.
