Lonnie Ray Smithers

Lonnie Ray Smithers passed away on March 20, 2026.

Lonnie dedicated much of his life to serving others through his faith as a pastor. He was a source of guidance, compassion, and strength to his congregation and all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Smithers, and his son, Elijah Smithers, who was a constant source of pride and joy in his life.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Blessing.

Lonnie is also survived by his siblings, Jeff Smithers and Angela Slusher, along with many other extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Lonnie will be remembered for the love he shared with his family, his unwavering faith, and the lasting impact he made on those he ministered to and walked alongside in life. His presence will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all.

Visitation will be held on March 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Community Lighthouse Church, 4305 Sycamore Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45236. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM at church. 

Tredway Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
