Rick Allen Auxier entered into God's kingdom on June 14th, 2024. He was born on March 31st, 1957, to Richard and Lyda Auxier. He was 66 years old.

Rick is survived by his daughters, Sarah (John Poirier), Elizabeth (Danny Myers), and Rebecca; son, Matthew (Pim Weyue); grandsons, John Paul, George, Cannon, and Easton; granddaughters, Faye and Braylon.

Rick was raised in a Christian household and was taught to work hard, be strong, and take care of those you love. In 1980, he married the love of his life, Beth. Rick and Beth were not only husband and wife but also best friends who supported each other in everything they did. The only thing that could separate them was the need to go to work, but afterwards, they were always immediately back where they preferred to be—together, and with their kids.

Rick was an amazing father to his five children. Although he worked countless hours at work and on home improvement and maintenance, he would still find time for activities and trips with his family, while making sure they had a good and safe home to live in. Whether it be rides on the tractor through the woods, sledding down the snow-covered hill in the yard, or late-night shopping trips to Meijer and the truck stop arcade, he always tried his best to be fun. Throughout the years, Rick also took his family on many vacations, helping them see new parts of the U.S. and make new memories together that will never be forgotten.

In the last years of his life, Rick continued to grow closer and more in love with his wife Beth than ever before. They would spend every waking moment together, but sadly in April 2023, Beth passed away, and a large piece of Rick's heart went with her. Stricken with the realization that he would have to wait until heaven to see his wife again, he began spending more time in prayer and in God's word, looking forward to the day that they would meet once again. Although we are sad to lose Rick, we are also happy that he is now with God, his wife, and his son. We now also look forward to the day that we too will meet once again.
