With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Saranya Back (nee Buraphadeja). Saranya "Noy" Back was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She departed the earthly world on January 19, 2022 at age 73. She was born on September 18, 1948, in Bangkok, Thailand. Her parents were Sngar Buraphadeja and Aame-on Sae-Lim. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 48 years, Lee. She was a proud mother to two children: Patricia Back and Timothy (Irene) Back, and an adoring grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren: Rose and Alexander. She was the beloved sister of Sawang Buraphadeja and Whit Buraphadeja. Saranya graduated from Chulalongkorn University, in Bangkok, Thailand, with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Political Science. She then pursued a Master's degree in Political Science at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Family was her priority and she showered many with her loving and generous heart. Friends and family are invited to honor the life of Saranya at Tredway Funeral Home in Norwood, Ohio on January 29, 2022, with visitation starting at 10 am, funeral service at 10.30 am, and then burial at Hopewell Cemetery.
