Velmer Arthur Richardson

Velmer Arthur Richardson (Rich) age 77, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on August 31, 2024, in Cincinnati.

Visitation will be Saturday September 7, 2024, at 1:00 at Tredway Funeral Home in Norwood, Ohio. Funeral service at 2 pm

Velmer was born in Cincinnati to Oscar and Allie Richardson on January 27, 1947. He graduated from Anderson High School.

Velmer was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

One of Velmer's most endearing traits was his sense of humor.

He could find humor in almost every situation. He loved to laugh and tried to make sure everyone else did as well. He loved traveling and spent some time out west enjoying the scenery and the comforts of the mountains. He believed "Life is a journey. Make the best of it!"

Velmer is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Allie Richardson, his three brothers Charles Richardson, Oscar Richardson Jr., and Oscar Richardson II.

Velmer is survived by his sons Andrew Richardson (Shannon) of Cincinnati and Travis Boucher of Colorado, by his grandson Kyle Trosper of Cincinnati, his sisters Violet Whittenburg (husband Mike), Veronica Evans (husband Larry), Vera Davidson (husband Fred, Vanessa Hembee (husband Tom), Velma Kelly (husband Dave), and Velda Richardson (husband Nick) and friend Ralph.
