Catherine Roark

Catherine Virginia Roark (Smith) born to Arneld and Ruth Smith on 8-1-56. Date of passing, 9-30-23.
It is with heavy hearts and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of our beloved Cathy, who went on to be with the Lord at 67 years of age.

Cathy was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and lived a life deeply rooted in faith and love. She was a loving daughter, mother, grandparent, sibling, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend. Cathy was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. She had a heart for service and tirelessly loved her family and friends. Cathy was passionate about helping others and sharing the gospel to those she loved and wants to meet again. She loved church, sewing, board games, cards, comedy, family gatherings, babies/kids, solitaire on the computer, and sneaking to dine out with us.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Roy Smith, and one daughter, Crystal Eshelman.

Cathy leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. She is survived by one brother, Tom Smith, one daughter, Elizabeth Roark, seven grandkids, Arin Hutchinson, Jerry Bolin, Izak Bolin, Sarah Roark, Tye Roark, Casie Warner, Jeffrey Carroll, and one great grandkid, Ranni Bolin as well as nieces and great nieces and nephews all of whom will forever cherish her memory and continue to honor her legacy. In addition, Fred Warner as an adopted son, Lisa Stange as an adopted daughter and Donaven Hill, Dylan Buerger, and Alyssa Wolf as adopted grandchildren. She was known as Mom, Aunt Cathy, Memaw, and friend to so many others.

The viewing service to celebrate Cathy's life will be held at Tredway funeral home located at 2131 Cameron Avenue in Norwood, Ohio

As Cathy's soul rests in eternal peace, may her light continue to shine in your heart.
