George Stockton, 82, died Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at the Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati after a brief illness.
Preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Connie (Daugherty) Stockton and his son Scott Stockton, he is survived by 4 of his children; Faith Ryan, Mark Stockton, Brett Stockton, and Stuart Stockton, 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Born and raised in Mt. Holly, his early years were spent working on the family farm and tinkering with machinery of all types. After a short stint in the Air Force, George returned to the Cincinnati area where he met his wife. After the birth of their first child, they moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon, where their second child was born. They later settled in the Cincinnati area, where they raised their family.
George’s love of cars, and his talents to repair all things mechanical, are well known to all of those around him. He also had a lively sense of humor, and was a notoriously entertaining storyteller.
Due to the health concerns of mourners, an in-person memorial service will be scheduled for a future date.
