Leo Sullivan Obituary

Leo Sullivan, age 68 passed away June 25, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Wilma (Roberts) Sullivan. A devoted father to his 3 daughters, Michelle (John) Worley, Amy (Andy) Hoffard and Christina Herrick. Also survived by his grandchildren John Carl, Emily, Jenna, Andrew, Adam, Anna, Payton, Everly and Elena along with his great grandchildren, Colton, Cooper, Andrew, Jaxon, Wade and Gracie. Survived by his sisters Nancy (Steve) Kemme, Mary (John) Feldman and Mona (Don) Sirk, his brothers Robert (Bonnie), Garrett (Cheryl), Allen and Paul. He was preceded in death by his father Izarah Sullivan, his mother Christine and sister in law Jan. Leo was born Feb 9, 1954 in Harlan County Kentucky where he resided until his family moved to Ohio and he met the love of his life, Wilma. They married in 1972 and started their wonderful family. Leo was a professional painter and ran his own business for over 50 years. He had a heart of gold and was always the first to help others in their time of need. He was a simple man and his happiest times were when he was with his family and friends enjoying good food and cold beer. He enjoyed football and baseball and always had a crowd over for the games. He loved to play horseshoes and corn hole and an occasional poker game. He loved to dance and never missed a chance to show off his moves. He also enjoyed a night at the Casino. Above all, he was a devoted family man, putting his family first in everything he did. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Ashland Baptist Church, Norwood Ohio on Thursday, June 30, 2022 . Friends are welcome to attend the viewing at 10 am, with services directly following at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
