WILLIAM “BILL” HARTMAN, 82, OF LIMA, OH PASSED PEACEFULLY AT HIS RESIDENCE IN CINCINNATI, OH ON AUGUST 2, 2023.

SURVIVING WILLIAM ARE HIS THREE DAUGHTERS BETTY(LEWIS) IVANOVICH, JACQUELYN "JACKIE" LAWSON, SANDRA "SANDY" THOMPSON, AND THEIR MOTHER ELIZABETH “SUE" HARTMAN; FIVE GRANDCHILDREN APRIL (JUSTIN) HEARD, MATTHEW (NINA FIORE) IVANOVICH, SAMUEL (BROOKE) IVANOVICH, ZACHARY THOMPSON, AND LINDSEY LAWSON; THREE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN PARKER THOMPSON, DANI HEARD, AND ISLA IVANOVICH. WILLIAM WILL ALSO BE DEEPLY MISSED BY HIS COMPANION, SHERRY MCINTIRE HARTMAN, HER DAUGHTER, CHRISTEL (XAVIER) BROOKS, SON, MARK BLEVINS, AND GRANDDAUGHTER, GRACIE BLEVINS. WILLIAM LEAVES ONE SURVIVING SISTER, SHIRLEY GOODMAN, SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS, EXTENDED FAMILY MEMBERS, AND LONG-TIME FRIEND JOE BARBER.

ALONG WITH HIS PARENTS, WILLIAM H. HARTMAN AND DORTHY E. MUMMA, HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS STEPFATHER, ROY MUMMA, SIBLINGS BETTY DAHLKE, WILLIAM HARTMAN, NANCY SCHINDLER, PAUL HARTMAN AND NICK MUMMA.

WILLIAM RETIRED FROM GENERAL MOTORS IN NORWOOD, OHIO, MANAGED THE FURNITURE LINE, BRASS RAIL I, BRASS RAIL II, ENJOYED FISHING, AND WAS EXTREMELY FOND OF HIS DOGS HARLEY, NELLIE, PEANUT, BJ, TINY AND BAILEY.

THE FAMILY WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND THEIR GRATITUDE TO QUEEN CITY HOSPICE AND THE MEDICAL TEAM AT CHRIST HOSPITAL IN CINCINNATI, OH FOR THEIR COMPASSION AND WILL BE HONORING WILLIAM’S WISHES TO BE CREMATED AND NO MEMORIAL SERVICES TO BE HELD.
