Zula Roberts - July 29, 1933 - November 22, 2020. Friends may call at Ashland Baptist Church, Monday November 30, 2020 12noon until time of service 1:00pm. Interment at Grace Land Memorial Gardens.

Zula (Nanny) Roberts (nee Smith), age 87 passed away at her home on November 22, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind her children: Judy Barber, Joann Acres, Wilma (Leo) Sullivan and Wayne (Cheryl) Roberts. She is survived by her sister Doris Thompson. Also survived by her grandchildren: Bill, George, Michelle, Clayborn, Lisa, Amy, Kara, Christina, Katie, Jamie and Becca who have blessed her with 27 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Clayborn Roberts, her son
James Roberts and her parents Sam and Minnie Smith, grandchildren Valerie and Josh, as well as siblings: Carrie, Corbett, Estella, Ada, Doyle, Eugene and Charlene. Born in Oneida, Tennessee on July 29, 1933 where she spent her childhood. Later, upon moving to Stinnett, KY she met the love of her life, Clayborn. They were married and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where they raised their family and lived a good simple life. Family was the most important thing to both of them. Weekends were always spent with everyone gathered at Nanny and Papa’s house. They were truly blessed with a very close knit family who spent a lot of time with them. Visitation at Ashland Avenue Baptist Church, Norwood, OH Monday, November 30, 2020 12:00noon until time of service 1:00 p.m. Interment at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
